handpicks city hospital
The Times of India, Tuesday 16th September, 2003
The Karnataka government has recognized the multi-specialty
Vikram Hospital and Heart Centre to provide treatment to state
government employees.
Vikram Hospital and Heart Centre said all the departments of
the hospital had been identified by the government and had issued
a gazette notification on September 3.
Also, the government had brought the hospital under a network
of multi-specialty hospitals in the State to offer quality care
to members enrolled under Yashaswini scheme. The twin recognition
would help patients get quality care, hospital authorities noted.
Yashaswini members who want to avail facilities are requested
to produce photo ID, membership card and recommendation for
treatment at the hospital.
Hospital’s MD Dr. S B Vikram said the hospital had treated
patients in and around Mysore for the last one year and they
had performed around 300 cardiac surgeries and angioplasties
with less then 1 percent mortality. |
