- The Pathology laboratory is equipped with Automated Cell Counter,
Random Access
Biochemistry Analyzer, Blood Gas Analyzer and Electrochemiluminiscence
system from
Roche diagnostics.
- The Elcsys 1010 is used for hormone assays, tumour marker
studies and cardiac
markers with its sensitivity and specificity being comparable
to RIA.
- At the lab we run quality control sera from Roche diagnostics
for all parameters, with
regular statistical analyses and calibration in case of calibration
drift.
- All our analyzers are interfaced with the computers in order
to nullify chances of
typographical errors. In future, reports could be made available
on the net or faxed to
the patient or the consulting doctor.
